This section showcases a selection of our work and highlights the range of experience we have. Aquamagic Yachts Limited can provide boat-building and boat-handling expertise for anything up to a small super yacht. We are experienced in building boats ranging in size from a dinghy to a 92’ yacht and really enjoy working in the 50' – 80' range. Whether you want boatbuilding or project management services on a new build or refit, we are here to assist in any way we can. Isola – 2024
Our latest project following our return from Barcelona is as owner’s representative for the final inspections and sea trials of a brand new Maritimo 75 motor yacht. Delivered late in 2024 in Sanctuary Cove, Australia, we will be helping the owner to take ownership of the boat once it arrives in NZ. After his Christmas break, we will be preparing the boat for a season in the islands in 2025.
Odyssea – 2023
Odyssea is the second MC63P and Aquamagic provided the same service for this build as we did for Senses. Odyssea is different in look as she has a fully enclosed flybridge with the one helm station. The owner is a very keen fisherman and so she is game rigged with fighting chair and large bait freezer outside under the seating unit. Aquamagic continues to provide ongoing support and advice to the owner and will be helping to prepare and deliver the boat to Fiji for winter 2025.
Senses – 2022
Aquamagic was the owner's rep in the design and construction of the first McConaghy's MC63P Powercat. Unable to travel to McConaghy's yard in China due to the Covid pandemic, this project required many hours on Zoom calls, phone calls and emails to pull together a stunning boat. She was shipped to Brisbane from China in late 2022 where Aquamagic met and supervised the unloading and commissioning of the boat prior to preparing and delivering her from Australia to NZ in 2 days and 15 hours! This was an average speed of 21.5 knots in an uneventful and incredibly smooth voyage. Senses has large foil between the two hulls which makes the ride and sea-keeping ability one of the best we have seen. Aquamagic continues to provide ongoing support and advice to the owner.
Willow – 2022
Willow is a Warwick Yacht Design 60’ yacht purchased by an experienced and discerning owner. Aquamagic provided project management services co-ordinating various trades in a 4-month refit, including a full exterior repaint, new teak decks, rigging and sail replacements, electrical, engineering and refrigeration upgrades, along with some interior modifications and changes.
